Jordans 5 Retro was firstly released on the February 1990, designed by the Tinker Hatfield again. The elements of this version were carried over from the last fourth model, anyway they were actually in a completely different look for new. Some of features were a reflective tongue, translucent rubber soles and lace locks, which is the newest element added into. And the comfortable soles gave them a totally new look, yet it yellowed over time when it exposed to the moisture and were the source with many complaints early for this due to the nature slippery of the soles when the collecting dust was absorbed on the surface and in it.
Hatfield is believed to getting the inspiration for this version from the World War II fighter planes of F-15, which with the most notably visible shark teeth shapes on the midsole of the design. The Air Jordan 5 Shoes was reintroduced in 2000 for its retro color including different color way featuring Michael Jordan's Laney High School colors. In 2006 there are several versions were reintroduced, including the LS "Grape" V's, the LS "burgundy" V's, the "Fire-Red" V's, the "Green Bean" V's, and "Stealth Blue"V's. Alongside with the latter, the limited laser design and the black/metallic/fire red colorways were released in the early 2007.
In the May 2009, real jordans for cheap confirmed the release of an "DMP II" consisting two Air Jordan 5.
