Elle Magazine puts MTV 'Skins' cast in racy lingerie underwear photo spread

The MTV show 'Skins' isn't your typical show and it has been getting plenty of negative feedback on how kids 1619 are being portrayed. Now the young cast can be seen in March Elle Magazine in lingerie and underwear in a photo shoot called 'After School Special.' An over the top collection of photos show the teenagers (not adults) in photos that might be a little more appropriate if they had their clothes on.

The 'Innerwear as Outerwear' theme has everyone looking at www.vougers.com/valentino-c-127/ the kids in what you might never see as it. The Parents Television Council has voiced concerns about this show as it is questionably appropriate for teenagers and young adults who watch it.

Melissa Henson, the Director of Communications and Public Education for the Parents Television Council told the New York Daily News Wednesday the photos definitely are of issue as well.

"With this, even though the poses are less provocative, the fact that they have these underage girls wearing lingerie is troubling," Melissa Henson told the New York Daily News. "It does contribute to the problem we're seeing increasingly, sexualizing young girls."

MTV so far hasn't let valentino sale up on the 'Skins' series with full steam it continues. If we all remember the same standoff happened with MTV's Jersey Shore, which coasted past the critics and ended up making the cast mates stars. The difference between the two shows is why 'Skins' won't make it. Jersey Shore makes fun of an ethnic nationality that couldn't get enough support of the mainstream population to get it toned down. However Skins reflects on all young girls, including the young neighbor girl next door. We all know at least one girl that we don't want seen in shots like these.
