If not, does Steam owner Valve intend to keep developers from taking the money and running as soon as sales first dip? That's not clear, but it seems that Valve will stand up to more obvious scams. Yesterday, Steam removed another game called Earth: Year 2066 from the Early Access program entirely, and is offering refunds to anyone who purchased the broken game — after it was discovered that the developer stole copyrighted artwork andastroturfed the game's reviews page. However, Valve suggests that the decision was madeon the basis of the game's dishonest marketing, not any issue with the game itself.Meanwhile, the developers of Towns saythey might like to make a sequel.Steam's in-home streaming now available to everyone. Starting rs gold today, Steam's in-home streaming tool is available to all users. The feature — which has been available in beta form since early this year — lets you connect two computers on the same network using your Steam account, and then play Runescape games remotely on one of them. "Steam In-Home Streaming allows you to play your PC Runescape games on lower-end computers such as a laptop or home theater PC, or a computer running another operating system such as OS X, SteamOS, or Linux," the company explains. During the betawe found that the feature was both simple to set up and offered some fantastic streaming quality, though it wasn't without its drawbacks — namely a stuttering frame rate when your connection is poor. The streaming feature is free, however, and you can check it out yourself right now. What's the future of Xbox at Microsoft? Verge Video Profile and Activity. Search results for pc game | Page 36. 'Shaq-Fu' sequel goes into production following successful crowdfunding. In March, NBA star Shaquille O'Neal kicked off a crowdfunding campaign to fund a sequel to the infamous 16-bit game Shaq-Fu — and it may have been close, but the funding was ultimately successful. O'Neal and his development studio Big Deez Productions were looking to raise $450,000 to build the game, and ultimately secured $473,884 from more than 1,300 backers. That includes six people who spent $250 to get a personalized voicemail from O'Neal, and five people who paid $500 so that the retired basketball star would follow them on Twitter. One lucky donor offered $35,000 so that O'Neal would DJ a party. While the campaign initially sought to bring the game only to the PC, the final version is now expected to launch a number of consoles, including the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U. No release date has been announced for Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn, and it looks like the game isn't particularly far along at present — Big Deez's Oliver Hollis-Leick says that following the successful funding campaign, "it's time to start production." Hopefully we'll find out soon what role cyberpunk Arsenio Hall will play in the game. Why Twitch could be the best $1 billion Google ever spends.
