Cayenne pepper is the most powerful herb for increasing circulation. When taken internally, it increases body-wide circulation. It also blasts circulation into any part of the body that it comes into contact with. All diseases are related to blockages within the body, and asthma is no exception. If you want to eliminate blockage, you will have to start by increasing circulation.
For cayenne to be effective, it should be at least 100,000 heat units. The ideal peppers are habeneros, African bird peppers, and the hottest Mexican and Thai peppers which are 200,000+ heat units. Jalapeños rate at around 70,000. Most herbal cayenne supplements in the market today are less than that.
Once you get used to it, cayenne should be something that you are taking on a daily basis until you are well. For most chronic conditions, you should be taking 3-6 doses per day. Cayenne is an herb that you cannot take too much of, and it should form a core part of any asthma herbal treatment. One thing – do be careful, for cayenne can literally drive your face red!
