We were sitting around mom and dad's dining room table about 2 months ago, it was about 5:00pm on the coast of California. Mom and dad were both Type II Diabetics and I started wondering if my husband, Ralph, might have a Diabetic problem as well. I had been a Registered Nurse for over 31 years and lately Ralph had been driving me crazy with frequent bathroom trips, gaining weight, falling asleep in the middle of talking or eating and even while driving. "Why don't you check your blood sugar," I casually suggested since mom and dad's diabetic supplies were sitting in front of us on the table. He did and his blood sugar was over 600! UGH!

We decided to use a Doctor of Natropathic Medicine and care for Ralph using natural herbs and nutrition along with a healthy lifestyle change. He started using TruChocolate 2 to 3 times a day along with eating six small meals every day high in nutrition, grains and low in carbohydrates. In addition Ralph tried to drink 3 to 4 quarts of water each day and either go to the gym or walk 3-4 times a week. Jollie Harris III has a wonderful book out about eating a healthy diet which helped us begin to understand what healthy diet really meant.

The results have been wonderful. Two months ago Ralph weighed 270, now he weighs 244. When he takes the TruChocolate 3 times each day (and does what he is supposed to do) his blood sugars are about 130. If he eats a small healthy meal before going to bed and takes the TruChocolate, his fasting blood sugar is about 120-130 without taking any medicine.

Ralph loves the taste of the TruChocolate and it helps him to drink lots of water. It has worked for him and as he continues to loose weight, I fully expect his blood sugars to go down more and more. If Ralph had not responded to the TruChocolate, we would have used traditional medicine but he did and he is doing very well.
