"Helping The World DISCOVER THE WAY of LOVE!"

Isagenix is another in a long line of health and nutrition products being marketing via the network marketing model. Their stated intention according to their main web site Auto Wealth Bot  is to impact world health. The company has a line of products for skin care, nutrition, and cleansing.

Cleanse for Life, one of their main products, is advertised as a tool for weight loss along with energy and good health. This product comes in packs of two 32 oz bottles, which is to last for two days of cleansing. This product appears to be recommended as a part of a complete system designed to cleanse your body over a 30 day stretch. It is also sold as part of the accelerated nine day program, which promises an average weight loss of seven pounds during that time frame. There are a lot of meal replacement options shown in their product line as well.

All the company's products are available right from the Isagenix website, or through independent retailers. They have a business model which is similar to that of Avon's.

The company website gives complete ingredient lists for all of its products. I'm not so sure about anyone claiming that a bunch of pills, shakes and such are a complete program for weight loss. I believe almost everyone can find success via a low calorie diet, exercising regularly and a single, effective weight loss supplement, or even no weight-loss products at all. I shudder to think just how many people are taking some sort of weight loss product without being certain of the potential effects, simply because they want to look better. The ingredients listed for Cleanse for Life product are Pau d'Arco inner bark, Aloe Vera leaf, suma root, IsaLyte trace minerals, eleutherococcus senticosus root extract, fennel seed, burdock root, peppermint leaf, licorice root, choline bitartrate, inositol, betain HCL and I-methionine. Sometimes I get the feeling that these companies only put items in their products with unusual names so that people don't know what it does, or what it is supposed to do. As a kid I had a ton of Burdock growing under my front porch. Never could have guessed it was helpful for weight loss. And I don't know what any of this stuff is with the exception of peppermint and aloe. And if anyone touches me with choline bitartrate they are going to get it!

There isn't anything on this list that is really well-known as as a proven, effective supplement for weight loss. Though many of the elements may be rather healthy in other ways, It may possibly be more effective to find a proven fat burner and appetite suppressant on the list for maximum loss of weight. Effective weight loss ingredients are noticeably missing from the ingredients list.

I can go on forever about the products seeing that there are lots to be looked at. I initially started to review this company in terms of someone's potential to produce a sizable income as an independent representative. I had a lot of trouble finding any solid numbers being provided by anyone out there who is in point of fact doing very well with the program.

Isagenix pays it's retailers with a binary compensation matrix. It's my least preferred of all network marketing comp plans. I don't care for the concept of getting paid only on the weaker leg. It forces the reps to balance their downline but it also supplies a relatively small percentage of revenue being paid out. The company is only paying out on less than half of it's volume right off the bat.

The Isagenix website specifies an average profit margin around 30%. So what one is really looking at in terms of income potential is having to sell tons and tons of product and recruit massively to even make any recruiting efforts worthwhile. In the binary matrix you have two legs under you which you add people to as your sponsor them. You will be putting your new recruits into the smaller of the two legs and trying your best to manage and balance them because you will only be paid on the small leg. Sometimes it's hard to manage whom you are adding where in your downline and can make it hard to predict the future production. But really, you will get few dollars every month, for every person, within your lesser leg. In my observation, as a business opportunity, Isagenix could be best suited for individuals who are using the products because they are getting results from them and believe in them and are not terribly concerned with making big time money, but perhaps in getting the products at a discount and making a bit of extra income here and there as they build their downline. Just on sheer percentages alone it does not pan out to be that strong of an income producer.

So there is a specific market for this company. I meet people who have been dedicated to companies similar to this, such as Shackley for 15+ years, and they are just so sold on the products that they will use them forever and mention them to others and they go through life and even if they only make a little here and there it totally okay with them. Too, for some individuals a business such as Isagenix can increase their social life. In fact, this is one of the reasons I have been in this type of marketing for nearly 15 years.

It seems to me, a product line of this type could be very conducive to a retail store-front. If one has a large local population who have interest in their health, or if you run your own health food or grocery store then this could be a great way to market such products, in contrast to more traditional method of word of mouth. Obviously, this would be almost completely a retail sales strategy than it would a recruitment strategy. I'm not a distributor for Isagenix and I have also never used the products. I was only hoping to get more reality on the company and shed some light on the income potentialities from an unaffiliated party view.
