Mr Graeme Beardsley, founder and principal of GAB Chartered Accountants said, “We have noticed a trend of business owners and professionals returning from stints overseas and wanting professional advice on setting up trusts on arriving back in New Zealand.” He went on to say, “The legal and taxation issues relating to the setting up of family and trading trusts are complex.
