"Helping The World DISCOVER THE WAY of LOVE!"
do you pronounce it with the
Well I always thought it was pronounced with the E but recently I have heard it without.
Now I know it named after the Greek goddess I now know the E should be pronounced. Thank you for clearing that up for me.
However, English is a strange amalgam Nike Air Max 2016 Womens of many languages and as such 2016 Nike Air Max it has many eccentric spellings and pronunciations which have been imported from some language. Sometimes these have been anglicized and sometimes not.
One case. as a newcomer to America, I got a very funny look when I asked for a pound of "turbutt fill it." He thought I was being funny (although I could tell he wasn amused). In England, the pronunciations of both and have been completely anglicized, but not in America. At least, not in Texas.
So Nike (to rhyme with bike) may not be wrong just anglicized.
And finally, just to confuse things, how about hyperbole and Penelope?
Haha, you americans can't pronounce latin or greek right :P. Beautiful names such as Homerus or Johannus are all magically transformed into Homer and John. The way to pronounce Nike Air Jordan Mens Nike, the greek godess version: 'Ni' should be pronounced like the english word 'knee', (mute k of course), and the 'ke' should be more or less pronounced as 'care', but then without the 're', like you start saying the word care, but stop in the middle of it.
and here in holland we just say Nike like 'bike' when referring to the shoe brand.
Why is it that sometimes we pronounce "the" as "thee," while other times we pronounce it as "thuh?" The same goes for "a" sometimes we pronounce it "ay," and sometimes we pronounce it "uh."
