make Rihanna a role model Kids have always idolized stars, but is it in a celebrity job description to make sure they role model material? Nicole Richie, a former wild childturnedmom, doesn think so.
In an interview with Flare magazine, Nicole says that young stars http://www.isabelmaranton.com/ shouldn be held up as an example to kids in the first place.
was just talking to a friend of mine who has two little girls about a certain singer whose name I won mention, says Nicole, who has kids Harlow, 4, and Sparrow, 2. was really upset, saying she wasn a good role model for his kids. But here the thing: that girl is 20something, so she shouldn be a role model to your little girls. She human, and it unrealistic to put people on a pedestal and expect that they not going to make mistakes. who Nicole talking about here? She doesn say, but my first guess was Rihanna: Along with taking heat for her provocative performances, she recently released a couple of songs with her abusive ex Chris Brown and is rumored to be hooking up with him again as well. But it could also be Rihanna BFF Katy Perry, who once said, not here to be a role model personality. I here to be in the business of fing rock and roll. What do you think?
It wasn all that long ago that Nicole herself wouldn have been considered the best role model, making tabloid headlines for all the wrong reasons. Do you agree with Nicole? Or should stars like Rihanna, Katy Perry and others think more isabel marant sale about the example they may be setting for their younger fans?
No, I don It not a performer job to be a role model. If you as a parent don want your children to listen to the music then be a parent instead of a friend to your child and say no. And explain to your kids why. It your job to limit exposure as best you can no one else I think too many parents today would rather be friend then a parent. They don want to say no, they don want to hear the words I hate you screamed at them from their preteen (who does really) but it comes with the territory often times. Well, then you shouldn have signed up to be a parent.
