You can crochet a lightweight, eyecatching scarf that accessorizes well with casual, professional or dressy outfits. To dress this scarf up, look for a soft, silky yarn so you can pair the scarf with dressier outfits for those evenings when you go out with the girls. Choose a light cotton thread to make a scarf you can accessorize with a scoop neck top and a dark blazer for work. For weekends, select a light yarn that stands up to more active pursuits like going to the game.

This scarf will stitch up quickly since it is composed of only three rows and a shell stitched border. www.moncleroutletvip.com You can also adjust the length and make it shorter or longer as you need.

You need to know how to make chain stitches, slip stitches, double crochet stitches and shell stitches. You should also know how to weave in the ends of yarn so your scarf takes on a neat, finished appearance. To crochet a shell stitch, make five double crochet stitches in the same stitch.

Using your size L11 (or your larger) hook, loosely chain 203 stitches. For Row 1, which is the wrong side, change to your smaller hook or K10.5 and double crochet in the fourth chain from your hook, then double crochet in each chain across for a total of 201 stitches.

Still using your smaller hook for Rows 2 and 2, chain three, which counts as your first double crochet then double crochet in each double crochet across for 201 stitches.

Using your smaller crochet hook, crochet round one, which is the right side. Crochet a shell stitch in the next stitch, skip the next stitch and slip stitch in the next stitch and skip the next stitch. Repeat from across to the final stitch, then slip stitch in the last stitch, working across the short end of your scarf. Skip the first rowend double crochet and crochet a shell stitch in the next rowend double crochet, skip the next rowend double crochet and work across the oppositelong sideof the foundation chain. Slip stitch in the first chain of the turning chain and skip the first stitch. Repeat from around and end with a slip stitch in the top of your first double crochet of Row three to join. Fasten off the end of the yarn and neatly weave in the ends.
