Wade stays in Miami with one

Dwyane Wade will remain in Miami after accepting a one year, $20 million contract offer from the Heat, according to reports.

The All Star guard sparred with the team the past few weeks over a new deal before coming to terms on Thursday. The contract can't be finalized under NBA rules until July 9.

Wade was slated to make $16.1 million next season in the second year of a two year contract but opted out to pursue a more lucrative deal. The one year contract gives the Heat some salary cap flexibility heading into next season when several high profile free agents will be on the market.

Tim Duncan will return for a 19th season with the San Antonio Spurs, and he might get some help in free agent center LaMarcus Aldridge.

Duncan, 39, talked with coach Gregg Popovich on Wednesday in Los Angeles, where they were part of a Spurs crew that also met with Aldridge, according to the San Antonio Express News. Duncan told the newspaper on Thursday that he will return.

Duncan, a two time NBA MVP, was still effective last season, averaging 13.9 points and 9.1 rebounds nike air jordan white purple in 28.9 minutes per game. He was the first player in NBA history to average at least 13 points and nine rebounds at age 38. In the playoffs, he was even better averaging 17.9 points and nike air max 2016 11.1 rebounds in 35.7 minutes per game.

Greg Monroe and the Milwaukee Bucks agreed to a three year, $50 million contract.

The third year in the deal is a player option, according to reports.

Monroe averaged 15.9 points and 10.2 rebounds last season for the Pistons and gives the youthful Bucks a needed post presence.

Free agent guard Monta Ellis agreed to a four year, $44 million contract with the Indiana Pacers.

The deal includes an early termination option that would allow Ellis to become a free agent after three seasons.

Ellis, 29, led the Dallas Mavericks with 18.9 points per game last air max 2016 red season. He has averaged 19.3 points, 4.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 678 games.

Center Omer Asik and the New Orleans Pelicans are finalizing a five year deal that could be worth up to $60 million.

Without incentives, the base contract is a four year, $45 million pact. Asik can kick in a fifth air max 2016 blue and black year and additional $15 million through performance and playing time escalators.

The former Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets big man averaged 7.3 points, 9.8 rebounds and 26 minutes in 76 games for New Orleans last season.

Arron Afflalo agreed to a two year, $16 million contract with the New York Knicks.

Afflalo holds a player option for the 2016 17 season, giving him power to return to free agency next summer when contract values are likely to balloon in the current of a new collective bargaining agreement.

Afflalo finished last season with the Portland Trail Blazers, who acquired the versatile backcourt piece from the New Orleans Pelicans in February.

The Sacramento Kings unloaded the nike air jordan retro contracts of Carl Landry and Jason Thompson and parted with 2014 first round draft pick Nik Stauskas on Wednesday night in a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.
