The Tampa Bay Lightning had arrived Josh Mauga Kids Jersey early to the playoff party in 2002-03. Stanley Gets a Tan
The Lightning steam-rolled through the 2003-04 regular season. They produced the first 100 point season in team history, finishing second in the NHL to the high powered Detroit Red Wings. The Jarome Iginla led Calgary Flames faced the boys from the south in the finals. The first six games of the series were a brutal, physical test. In their 12th year of existence the Tampa Bay Lightning had become the southernmost city to hoist Lord Stanley's Cup. Calgary flamed out and the Stanley Cup retired to Florida.
