Ralph Lauren Kids And yes, Wii Fit and some

Nike Kinect Training

As you may (not) have seen in the gym, fitness technology is getting smart, with the muscle manipulating machines taking all sorts of metrics before drilling you hard for any extra calories you enjoyed. But technology ain all that: it can make you go to a gym (caveat: unless we talking life supporting ventilators that kept you going after a heart attack, in which case technology probably did help get you back in there). Because ultimately, gyms are boring places. And they always contain people like this. Hmm this week launch of Nike+ Kinect Training is a good thing for all of us, because it takes Nike enormous sporting creds and channels them into your home via Xbox Kinect. That right: your Xbox can now get you fit without even setting an Air Max cushioned foot outside the front door.

Ralph Lauren Kids And yes, Wii Fit and some others can do the same. But this is different. Less cartoonish. More grown up. Fire it up and using the know how from Nike top athletes and coaches (but maybe not Lance Armstrong), your fitness and flex levels are first assessed, before you choose to Lean Toned or Strong and then you into the hard bit the training. And it will be hard, because your plan is personal to you.

Ralph Lauren Shirt In front of the camera, Nike+ Kinect Training tracks you so perfectly that if you doing something wrong, your personal trainer on the screen (choose from two US athletes male or female with more DLC content including other athletes on the way, we told), will tell you so and wait until you correct it. They also bark at you to get back if you try and slip off for a mid workout sit down. They see everything. There are hardcore drills, fun challenges (with leaderboards), you can train with a mate across Xbox Live (with video) and you can share to Facebook, get cheered on and, with a Nike FuelBand, earn Fuel. And it all syncs to your Nike+ account. And then there your Print the metrics that let Nike+ Kinect Training works out to track your development day by day.

Truthfully, this is in home fitness unlike anything else out there, and with it, there almost no barrier to you shaping up. And I say because we the cusp of Halo 4 and Black Ops 2 hitting. Just try and boot up your console without heading to those first. If you think you can manage it and I will be trying very, very hard to Nike+ Kinect Training launches this Friday ( on Amazon). It possibly your best (read: only) chance of avoiding Festive season gout. I can think of a better sign off for this than Nike own: just do it.

Ralph Lauren Polo Shirts Windows Phone 8 Is Here

Windows Phone 8 (just call it WP8) launched this week and it Microsoft best chance yet at getting a foothold on the mobile market. If you can get used to Google Android or Apple iOS mobile operating systems, you may find the slick, tiled design of WP8 up your street.

First, the bad bit: if you an app fan, there just 120,000 apps for WP8, compared to more than 700,000 for iOS and 675,000 on Android. Microsoft has tried to play this down saying that 46 of the top 50 mobile apps will be available on WP8, but still, the words and might fall out of your mouth.

That aside, there are some clever tricks in WP8, many of which a trendy looking Hobbit will explain here. The Live Tiles can be three different sizes and deliver the live content to the screen; Skype is built in to work across the OS; a Data Sense feature keeps tabs on your data use, and automatically compresses data so you can get more out of your plan (up to 45% more, reckons Microsoft) as you near the limit. There also Rooms, which allows you to share with only certain groups (family, friends, mistresses etc) and Kid Corner, which provides a walled garden for your children stop panicking that they deleting important stuff or wandering into things they shouldn be while they play their favourite games on your phone and give you some well earned downtime. I don have kids, but I guessing it works just as well for other people offspring who want a go on your phone.

There a raft of WP8 devices out and the flagship is undoubtedly the Nokia Lumia 920. It excellent, but don discount the HTC 8X or the Samsung Ativ S. You can dither on the specs of a device forever and get nowhere (and please do), but both these have the Holy Grail: they feel great in the hand. Well, they felt and performed great in my hand at the WP8 launch. That means up to 6.7million homes with a Sky+ HD box and broadband connection can now enjoy the best of the BBC on demand, including Doctor Who, Strictly Come Dancing and the ultimate misery fest, EastEnders. And it a cinch to use, as it found alongside the other catch up TV available from Sky (although Channel 4 4oD is still missing, due early next year tsk).

Amazingly, the landmark deal means the iPlayer is now available on more than 650 platforms and devices. It not hard to see why it so popular when, in September 2012 alone, the iPlayer saw nearly 200 million requests for programmes, including 2.2 million for Doctor Who. Try it.

Spotify Is Inside Your Smart TV

Another app in your TV update! Spotify will stream music to just about every device going: your computer, your mobile, your tablet. Now you can add TV to that list. The Swedish sound streaming extraordinaire has just launched its service on Samsung Smart TVs, which you can download through the apps bit in the Smart Hub. If that sounds a bit perplexing, it not: Man vs Tech grabbed a Samsung Smart TV (a natty Series 8 40 incher) to give it a whirl and the reality is that a toddler could setup Spotify on a Smart TV.

Ralph Lauren T Shirts Thanks to the stunning Smart TV and its wireless internet connection, installing the app takes seconds hit the Smart Hub via one button on the remote, head to the Apps icon and it in there. For Spotify subscribers, you then login and all your music is there to enjoy. If you new, just sign up and go shuffling through more than 18 million free tracks on offer.

But if you want to lose the ads, you need to grab a subscription. Single? Could be the best money you ever spent: Spotify recently did some digging to unearth what tracks get us in the mood. Warning! The results include from Dirty Dancing for the Smart TV itself? Stick one on the Christmas list. They not cheap and you probably only use the decidedly iffy motion and voice control as much as you use the 3D (rarely, if ever). But for the picture quality, its wireless web connected smarts and the positively anorexic dimensions, there nothing else to say except: you need one.

And 4GEE Is Live! First Impression.?

Since Tuesday launch of 4GEE the 4G service from Everything Everywhere Man vs Tech has been 4Ging it up in London. And the first impression is good: 4G really is blisteringly quick. Downloading various apps to the HTC One XL I been given (quite possibly the world phone avoid) of sizes from 10MB to 17MB each took no more than a few seconds. Less than 10 seconds in most cases. It like a sort of magic WiFi. Web surfing? Near instant page loads, no matter how heavily packed they are.

Where 4G drops out and that happens in more places than you think, even in London you down to a far less speedy 3G+ or 3G. Testing is ongoing, but so far is 4G worth it in the two days I had it? Totally. Once you experienced the new speed, it absolutely crushing to have to go back to 3G. Just don expect it to work flawlessly. Yet.
