Dogs are naturally aggressive by nature. The Paracord Survival Kit Review Stopping aggressive dog behavior can be quite a task if you have never dealt with dogs before or if this is your first time owning a dog. When dogs are in the wilderness, being aggressive can be very useful. Dogs need to be aggressive to protect themselves from other animals, hunt for their food, and to protect were they sleep.Hundreds of years of selective breeding has minimized this trait tremendously. Dogs are very capable of inflicting damage because it is in their instinct and part of their survival skills. You as a dog owner are not totally helpless when it comes to handling your dog. There are many things that you can do to prevent aggression from starting in the first place. Even if it hasn't been possible to prevent this type of behavior in the past there are still several things that you can do to deal with this type of behavior.
There are several different types of dog aggression. Let's start with aggression towards strangers. Have you ever had a stranger come over your home and your dog start acting nervous and jumpy? Your dog may have been pacing around whining and leaping at the smallest noise. The main reason your dog doesn't like strange people is because she doesn't know them and she is not used to them. This is what you can do about it: You need to get your dog accustomed to the world with a process called socialization. This is a very important part of your dog's upbringing. So how can socialization prevent aggression towards strangers? When you expose your dog to a lot of different new experiences, different people, and new animals this is what is called socialization. Your dog is learning about new things, sights, and sounds. When your dog is used to these things, it makes it fun for her and not scary.

You need to do more than take your dog to a crowded park and say "calm down it's ok". Your dog is going to need to learn these things on her own. You need to start when your dog is a puppy so the lesson will sink in. The more different types of people and animals that you introduce your dog to (kids, men, women, teenagers, older people, little babies) in a fun, relaxed atmosphere and the more happy and relaxed she will be around strangers.
