In 1770, the German- Austrian developer Siegfried Marcus constructed a type of car. This car realized the mechanical motor of Cougnot into mechanical power. 92 years later, Etienne Lenoir developed the first car with an internal combustion engine and a year later Lenouar produced the first car trip on earth by protecting 19.3 miles round trip with the average rate 6.4 kilometers per hour. Benz began to work on the designs of a new engine in 1878. In the beginning he focused on the design of a trusted two-stroke gas engine. Bench designed the first three wheeled vehicles in 1885 and took patent license from the city of Mannheim in January of 1886. This was the initial automobile which was designed and made as a car and much less an alteration of a truck or a cart.

Nearly all of the automobiles today use petrol or diesel, which cause smog and accused of contributing to the change of environment and the greenhouse effect. In these times, significant efforts are completed in vehicle manufacturing for the development of electric vehicles, while hybrid vehicles are currently out there and they use both electrical power and fuel.
