When I say the word "NOMOS," what probably pops into your mind's eye is a slim, modern-looking watch replika prada torby with a silvered dial. When I first saw it, I thought there would be some more substantial updates to the watch – namely a new case size – but instead I discovered that short of the dial, gems, and finishes it's very much the same watch from last year. However, I am seeing a trend with complicated ladies' watches, and feel like my prayers are finally being answered – even if the price is CHF 83,000.Each watch is limited to a run of 100 pieces each, and the prices offered place them both squarely in the value proposition category. It isn’t every day you come across two offerings packing this much value and design in a watch under $1,000.I happen to quite like the current Polo Date 36mm with diamond indices. Its smooth, curved profile sits elegantly on the wrist. It's subtle in size but sporty in feel. And I'll gladly admit that now that it comes without diamonds, I like it even better.

Comprised of 355 components, this caliber is kept relatively thin by a solid gold micro-rotor, as is the case with all Chopard caliber 96 base movements. Again, here we have the two stacked barrels of Chopard's Twin technology, allowing for a 65-hour power reserve.
