The survey said 15 percent of Americans still do not use the Internet

For many people, the Internet is an important way to keep in touch with friends and family. However, according to Pew (Pew Research) to a new analysis, there are still 15 percent of American adults do not use the Internet.

Although in recent years, the Government and non-governmental organizations to launch more service projects, the intention to encourage the use of the Internet, but the scale is not the Internet of people have not changed much in the past three years. But 15 percent of the figure is much lower than in 2000, when Pew began to study the social impact of Internet technology. When nearly half (48%) of American adults do not use the Internet.

http://www.modulesdirect.com is an independent distributor 6 years old, more than 300 thousand electronic components can be found at our web datadase, such as mg150q2ys50 and SKKD60F17, hard to find and obsolete electronic components is our leading business, looking for to cooperate with all company or personal who want to buy electronic parts.

A 2013 Pew survey found several key reasons some people do not use the Internet: the reason of non-Internet users, one-third (34%) do not go on the Internet is not interested or that the Internet and their lives irrelevant. In addition 32 percent of non-Internet users say the Internet is too difficult to learn, of which 8% said "themselves too old, so can not learn." Cost is also partly the result of adults away from the Internet --19 percent said the Internet service, or the cost of purchase of the computer led to the reason they do not use the Internet.

The latest Pew analysis also shows that do not use the internet and also the age, education, household income, race, religion and other factors related to the type of community.

The elderly are most likely to call themselves never online groups. Persons aged 65 years and over in about four out of ten do not use the Internet, while the proportion of 18-29 year-old age group was only 3%. Family income and education level and whether the Internet is also closely linked. Persons less than high school education, one third do not use the Internet, but with higher levels of education, the ratio reduced accordingly. Person household income of less than $ 3,000 a year, the number of people without Internet access may be the richest adult population eight times people do not go.

Americans living in rural areas, the number of people living without access in urban and suburban people twice. And ethnic and religious differences in the proportion corresponding to very meditative. Fifth of blacks and 18 percent of Hispanics do not use the Internet, compared with 14 percent for whites, only 5 percent of Asian Americans speak English.

Although part of the group of Internet usage has remained relatively low level, but most Americans are choosing the Internet. Over time, the offline population would have been reduced, and for some groups is concerned, this change is particularly intense. For example, in 2000, the proportion of people aged 65 and over are not using the Internet was 86%, and now that number has been reduced to half. In those less than high school education, the proportion of people without access has been reduced to 33% from 81%.
