Here are the 10 players we missed in our initial TOTW 18 Prediction. With multiple games all over Europe, picking TOTW entries gets even tougher.
GK: Stefano Sorrentino – Palermo
With mid-week games all over Europe this week, it can make TOTW fifa coins players a little harder to predict, and Stefano Sorrentino is certainly in that category. He admittedly put in a great performance in Palermo’s 1-0 win over Verona making 7 saves. But he did also ship 3 goals against Fiorentina on the Wednesday too. Solid IF though.
LB: Rúben Ferreira – Marítimo
It's been quite a few days for Maritimo, who were on the end of a spanking themselves losing 6-0 by Benfica in mid-week, but then dished out their own thrashing to Moreirense beating them 5-1 on the Sunday. Fullback Ruben Ferreira scored in that 5-1 win, but after shipping 6 goals just a few days prior, it’s a somewhat odd defensive choice.
ST: Gonzalo Higuaín – Napoli
Napoli remain top of Serie A after winning both their games over the last week. The best of the victories was a 5-1 win against struggling Frosinone, where a number of different In Form’s could have been picked. Gonzalo Higuain gets the nod for his brace, and to be honest, there is never a bad time for a Higuain In Form. Especially at an 87 rating.
RB: Gavin Hoyte – Barnet
Barnet aren’t doing all that well in League 2 but they did manage their first win in three against Bristol Rovers on Sunday. Gavin Hoyte scored the only goal, in a game where Barnet had to weather a tough last 30 minutes after Andy Yiadom was given his marching orders. Goodbye Futhead Picks percentage!
RM: Kosta Barbarouses – Melbourne Victory
Melbourne Victory were involved in a humdinger of a tie against the Central Coast Mariners in the A-League last weekend, which ended up finishing 3-3. Kosta Barbarouses was in fine form netting from the penalty spot in this one and as such gets what looks like a banging Silver In Form. It's always nice to see more A-League additions.
ST: Gonzalo Bergessio – Atlas
The Mexican League season got underway last weekend (which always means In Form's) where Atlas made the most perfect of starts, beating Queretaro FC comfortably 3-1. After Queretaro had taken an early lead, Atlas fired back with 3 goals, two of which were scored by Gonzalo Bergessio to seal the win.
ST: Harry Novillo – Melbourne City
Back to the A-League now where Melbourne City also played out a high scoring fifa 16 coins game, but unlike their city counterparts they managed to win 3-2 win against the West Sydney Wanderers. Striker Harry Novillo scored twice here which takes him to 6 for the season, and a place in TOTW 18.
GK: Alfredo Talavera – Toluca
Another perfect start in Mexico, this time for Toluca who beat Tigres 1-0. This time however, the victory wasn’t quite so comfortable with keeper Alfredo Talavera called upon to make numerous saves, before Fernando Uribe eventually stole the win in the 90th minute. This looks a really nice In Form too.
CDM: Danilo Pereira – FC Porto
There was bound to be an In Form or two from Porto’s 5-0 win against Boavista in Portugal, but if anything Danilo Pereira was the least likely of the lot. As Layun and Aboubakar both seemed ahead in the TOTW pecking order due to their goals and assists. But hey, who’s complaining about this tank? It's raining Portuguese In Forms at the moment.
ST: Jonathas – Real Sociedad
Real Sociedad put together a fine 2-0 win against Gary Neville’s struggling Valencia, which saw two In Forms make the TOTW. Striker Jonathas scored both goals, and makes the cut alongside team mate Martinez. Sociedad’s first win in five, opening up some welcome daylight between them, and the relegation places in La Liga.
