Why iPhones Beat The Competition

Apple inc. has revolutionized the technology market by creating some of the most popular devices that keep consumers running to the store such as The quick jailbreak, Apple Tv, iMac, Macbook, iPad, and the iPhone. iPhones has become one of the most popular smartphones on the market. Apple does an excellent job in keeping their users wanting to get their hands on the next model that comes out. Despite falling short in some software and hardware features that some iPhone fans are dieing to see, Apple continues to sell millions on units each time it releases a new model. Lets take a look at why that might be:

Branding:

Apple does an amazing job with painting their brand and image as being innovative and high quality. They know how to appeal to their target audience and makes their symbol one that you can recognize from any part of the world. The company is big on keeping their devices simple yet powerful, and they make sure they let their consumers know that with every product they advertise. They make a point of making their products as thin as possible, making each one of the predecessors of their devices thinner than the previous one. People give the iPhone a lot of criticism about not being anything unique, and that it's only catching up to other phones with more advanced features, but one thing you can't argue about is Apple's brand being powerful enough to sell products based on it's name alone. The name has a certain prestige that a consumer will buy into no matter what they're selling.

Design:

One thing that really makes Apple stand out from the rest of the crowd is the design of their products. Although their phones are very delicate and not really built for accidents like dropping or sitting on, they do a great job with making it eye candy. The phone is slim and has a nice glass finish. It only has one button that is used for navigating through the device, and with the most recent model, has doubled as a finger scanning feature for locking and unlocking the phone. Talk about raising the bar.

Operating System:

After spending some time with Android and Windows devices, I have to say that the iOS is easily the most user friendly operating system out of the three. Not only are the icons big and bold but it takes no time in learning how to navigate through the phone and finding all of the important functions of the device. Other devices can sometimes have sub menus that are too elaborate and confusing to the average consumer.

Applications:

Apple's app store has the largest amount of applications than any other app stores on the market. There really is a meaning behind the saying "there's an app for that" there's literally an app for anything you can think of, and the best part about it is a lot of it is free! The app store has a large variety of free apps including games, books, educational apps and many more. One thing you can't deny is apple's willingness to open their doors and give anyone a chance to become a developer and allow them access to create awesome new apps.

These are only a few reasons of why the iPhone continues to be one of the most relevant devices in the cellphone market. As Apple continues to evolve their smartphone and keep on coming out with revolutionary features to keep the iPhone on top of the market, consumers will continue to camp out in from of their stores days before the release of their anticipated device, keeping Apple one of the most talk about company of our decade.
