Quick Take: Almost immediately after Max Büsser accepted the prize for Artistic Craft, he was called back onstage to accept the award for Men's Complication for the seriously impressive MB&F LMX Titane, which celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the Legacy Machine. It was a great night for Max and team, and a hell of a lucky coincidence for us, given we published our Talking Watches 5G Sicherheit with him this morning.The watch measured 39mm wide and 12mm high with a case and compass that were watertight to 30 meters. The glass protecting the dial is hardness 9 sapphire crystal with a glare-free coating. The compass, when removed from the watch, has the same sapphire crystal on both sides so you can use it independently and lay it on a map without obscuring your view.Anybody familiar with the brand will know that much of Büsser's talent lies in his ability to identify and call on the best of the best. This is where the "&F" (MB&F is short for Max Büsser and Friends) part becomes evident. Tarpin is now one of the Friends.Fresh for 2024 are the IWC Portugieser Chrono three ways: Horizon, Obsidian, and Dune. Horizon is a blue color paired with a white gold case, which takes inspiration from the early afternoon sunlight and presents an almost sky-blue. Obsidian is a black dial variation inspired by the night sky and is paired with an 18k yellow gold case. Finally, Dune is a sandy color with gold-plated hands that takes its inspiration from the mood of the evening and comes in steel.


The Rainbow Daytona was first released back in 2012 in both white and yellow gold. It was made in VERY limited quantities, hit cult status quickly and has almost tripled in value since then.
