But, either way, your bases are covered.Last Sunday, we brought you a look back at two amazing balance springs found in vintage Girard-Perregaux pocket watches. As a follow up, take a look at this in-depth piece by Ben that covers the design, execution, and functionality of Girard-Perregaux's most technical of silicon-based achievements, their Constant Escapement system.At the heart of the Submersible PAM 973 is the Panerai Caliber P.900 movement, which provides a power reserve of three days. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback and the watch is water resistant to 300 meters. It comes affixed to a black rubber strap, making it a truly striking modern dive watch in today's market.
