This is the fifth in a series. As a non-tattooed individual, I never thought about the limited editions much, as I didn't think I had the style sense to pull it off. With the new Labormatic, we see a creative design delivered in a potentially more wearable format.


The Overseas collection has been frequently used as a vehicle for the brand to experiment with color. Now, Vacheron joins the ranks of fine watchmakers adding various shades of green to its repertoire, expanding the scope of the deep emerald sunray dials introduced in its Traditionelle collection into its most sporty line, pairing this new hue with 18K pink gold case and bracelet.In this case, it seems like replika Omega the watch is, at its core, a Freak S like we covered when it was introduced in 2022, but with some updates to the design language. There are actually three movements, one powering each of the three dials. The main local time dial has an automatic ETA 2671 perched underneath, while the smaller UTC and home time dials use ETA quartz movements instead (ETA 901.001 to be precise). The 2671 is actually a pretty cool movement – it dates back to 1971 and is one of the smaller automatic movements out there at just 17.5mm across (7.75 ligne, if we're being really exact).These watches are powered by the ETA 2824-2 movement with a Farer-signed rotor. The entirety of this movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, which is pretty awesome for a watch that costs $1,075. The watch is completed by a Barenia leather strap and is very comfortable to wear all while looking great on the wrist. While the colors aren't for everyone (I am certainly a neutrals girl myself), I find replika Omega them playful yet attractive.What Hamilton has done here is take the basic design philosophy of that watch and integrate it into what is basically the prototypical version of a vintage-inspired timepiece today. I look at this new piece, and can't help but think a computer scanned that pocket watch and reimagined it using an algorithm meant to incorporate every desirable modern horological component.With the unique case shape…it's like an Apple Watch with sharper edges. I don't know if that's actually a selling point but it could be! In any event, I got to spend time with each and every one of these and the lightness cannot be overstated. They are pure fun, and I can honestly see me myself rotating through all four for the rest of the summer.
