A. Lange & Söhne first added a moonphase complication to the Lange 1 family almost a decade and a half ago, back in 2002. Now, two years after giving the basic Lange 1 a new movement and a major overhaul, the falske richard-miller ure Lange 1 Moon Phase is getting the same treatment. In addition to all the other technical and aesthetic changes, this watch introduces a new hybrid moonphase and day/night indicator that sets it apart from the models that have come before.Sold exclusively as a set and only via Junghans retail locations, the Max Bill Edition Set 60 includes three similar-looking but surprisingly different takes on the original design. Spanning a standard three-hand automatic, a regulator, and a high-tech quartz-powered model with a small seconds display, all three watches are based around 38mm steel cases with dark grey anthracite PVD coatings.Chieng's collection is focused on iconic models from highly regarded watchmakers, but his selections seem to veer one or two clicks away from that which is most predictable. He has two early Seiko 6139 automatic chronographs, but rather than the "Pogue," Chieng wears the "Bruce Lee." Watchmakers regularly introduce existing watches in new colors and new metals. Sometimes this feels like incremental news, and sometimes it feels like you're getting a whole new watch. These two releases definitely fall into the latter camp. The Pelagos FXD GMT measures 42mm wide, 52mm lug to lug, and 12.7mm thick. Most of this is to be expected as the FXD has largely held to its original dimensions (with the chronograph examples coming in at 43mm), but there is some context to this thickness when considering it's a Tudor GMT.
