I'm not a loon, and I won't sit here and tell you that the 40mm white gold Cubitus is the next "it" watch. It's still not drop-dead gorgeous, and it certainly won't make anyone forget the Nautilus anytime soon. Yet, and you can scream at me, I think it's a pretty good-looking watch now, and — get this — I'd actually wear it.With some extra budget from Rolex, the event could be lifted to an even falska iwc klocka higher level in terms of quality.Think limited-edition NBs in a special color. Think luxurious sweatpants. Think vintage Porsche and Aime Leon Dore. It's a sort of cultivated high-low vibe that was born in an urban environment but respects the classics (modernist furniture, vintage HiFi, and farmer's markets) and likely will, or just has, moved to the 'burbs. He probably wears a Datejust of some sort.
