The brand was part of the illustrious race to release the first automatic chronograph, competing with Seiko and the consortium of brands formed by Heuer, Breitling, billig rolex Uhr Hamilton-Buren, and Dubois Depraz.The chronograph’s minute pointer, tachymeter scale on the aluminum bezel insert, six-minute indicator at 3 o'clock, and rectangular plots at the hour markers are all executed in orange.With Cerrato at its helm, HYT is worth keeping an eye on. They've been cranking out interesting models lately. The shock of the steep 130,000 CHF price tag lightens a little when you appreciate the Moon Runner White Neon as an exercise in taking horology to the extreme.Part of this wearability is also thanks to the new five-link (don't call it a Jubilee!) bracelet that drapes the wrist better than the existing Oyster-style options. While Tudor still offers an Oyster-style bracelet or a rubber strap with the burgundy Black Bay, the new Jubilee style is the way to go. It tapers from 21mm to 16mm; there are no faux rivets; everything about it looks and feels so damn good. Tudor's also added its T-fit to the clasp for good measure (get it?).


The 4 Carrera Chronograph 42 mm with their opaline black or sunray-brushed blue dials are set off with a stainless steel bracelet with H-shaped links. The angles of the outer and inner links are rounded for a more streamlined effect and the bracelet is slimmer for enhanced wearing-comfort. The silvered version, as well as the anthracite gray one, are worn with a brown alligator strap.However, if you already have the limited edition platinum Speedmaster from 2016, with the red bezel and Moonphase disc, I am not sure if the replique vacheron constantin montres new red model adds much to that one, except for the rubies and platinum bracelet.That likely makes it fine for sea spray or immersion during active sailing, but that’s about the limit of exposure to the elements I would’ve considered for this watch had I owned it from new.
