Machining is one of crafting professions in ArcheAge, which can save some ArcheAge Gold for you, you will not need to buy vehicles in the game after all. This profession allow you to build and improve different types of mechanical vehicles, gilders and submarines, siege equipment and many other interesting things.

Materials
First of all any engineer needs materials for crafting. You will need a lot of different martials from other professions like farming, logging and mining. Machining requires different materials and it’s impossible to predict which material you will need. Fortunately you can purchase all you need from the auction or collect materials yourself.

You can look through the list of available recipes in order to find out what material you will need. For example if you are going to focus on vehicle crafting you will need different ingots.
Workbench
There are 2 types of Workbenches: Carpentry Workbench and Regal Carpentry Workbench. Simple Workbench can be found in most villages and you will hardly have difficulties looking for it. But Regal Workbench is not easy to find. It can be purchases on Mirage Island and placed in your own house. You will need to do it on order to become great engineer.

Regal Workbench is required for crafting Submarine improvements. There are 5 improvements an engineer can create for a submarine using regal table only.
