All exercise is beneficial to the body in different ways. But, some types of exercise are better than others when it comes to weight loss, especially when we are talking about The Salvation Diet rapid weight loss. Unfortunately, there are so many half truths and outright lies printed today, people end up not making any progress or end up worse off than when they started. So what exactly are the best exercises for weight loss?

Two words: Compound Exercises. Compound exercises are the most efficient way to burn huge amounts of calories and boost the heart rate quickly. They have the benefit of working multiple parts of the body at once, saving time and boosting the metabolism in the process.

Compound exercises are defined as movements that utilize more than one muscle group at a time or movements that require the use of more than one joint at a time. A great example of a compound exercise would be the squat curl to press. A squat curl to press involves performing a full squat, then a bicep curl with both arms, followed by a shoulder press. Instead of working just the legs, we are now working the legs, biceps, and shoulders at the same time.
