Infant sleep patterns vary with each child. The first three or four weeks, outside the womb, and infants you have long periods of times and short sleep. Your child has not made the difference between night and day so that he or she will wake up in the night just the same day; however, he wakes up to feed and take care of hunger pangs.
As your baby grows, she will notice, he or she will sleep less and stay awake longer. The sleep periods increase in length. Your child will learn the difference between night and day as well.
You should not disrupt this tendency to rest during Melatonin Spray his or her first days of life; however, as your child grows it is important to develop the practice of regular sleep schedule. Thus, encouraging good sleep habits during the night. In the years of youth, your child should nap for about two hours, give or take, during the day to renew their system. If taking a nap in the later dinner can lead to bad nights of sleep.
