It is acceptable to cheat a little when lifting. Using the leverage of your body weight to squeeze out a few more reps is an easy way to increase your workout results. Cheating a little is okay, but cheating a lot will just be cheating yourself out of great results. Make sure that your rep speed is controlled. Don't let your reps get sloppy.Muscle Forge X Recognize that the requirements of serious muscle building and intense cardiovascular exercise (such as marathon training) are not compatible. While doing cardio is great for fitness, too much of it may negate your attempts to build muscle through strength training. Put most of your efforts into strength-training if you wish to grow muscle.
