The case itself measures 41.5mm in diameter by 14.5mm, 1.4mm thicker than the Datograph Up/Down, which is actually remarkable to me, considering how much more complex the movement inside is.


It's a versatile, elegant, and very sophisticated perpetual calendar, with just enough of a hint of informality to be much more suitable for daily wear than many, maybe most, other perpetual calendars. While it seems like something I would have to see in the metal to really get my head around, I typically prefer this general shape in modern watches. All in all, these are expensive watches within Chopard's most premium collection, but I see a ton of value for the right collector and truly well-considered changes throughout both models.The bracelet is a fascinating design. To hide any visible pins on the profile of the links, the brown ceramic bracelet is built over a superstructure of a rose gold articulated framework. It's a pretty ingenious way to fix issues that some brands have when trying to make thin ceramic bracelets without them becoming too fragile for daily wear.
