It would seem that of all the Rolex divers to link need a feature like this, it would be the Sea-Dweller and Deepsea, but now it's gone. Maybe Rolex got word link that customers weren't using them, maybe this addition made the watch too link heavy. The "why" remains unknown just as the Fliplock remains a thing of the past.
