'GTA 6' Release Date: Take-Two Inspired By 'World of Warcraft' Model, GTA MMO Up Next

It has been a few years since the last installment to Buy WOW Gold the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise was released. Now, fans are starting to wonder if a new installment is on its way to the market.

Several "GTA" fanatics have already started to speculate about the unveiling of the new episode of the GTA series. Adding to this speculation is the fact that game developer Rockstar has also revealed bits of information about the possibility of "Grand Theft Auto 6" launching.

Although an official announcement is far from being made, the arrival of the new GTA game is inevitable.

Game publisher Take Two Interactive would want to release a game that would captivate fans not only after its initial released but for a few years just like what is happening to the "World of Warcraft." The game has been a big hit years after it hit on everyone's computer, The Examiner reported.

"GTA V" was released in 2013 and the people behind the company have done a very good job in bringing in a new experience of GTA online. It's certainly not an MMO game, but Take Two can definitely make this as one if they decide to do so.

The publisher's CEO, Strauss Zelnick, confessed that they are open to the idea of designing a "World of Warcraft" inspired game, the news outlet added

In his statement relayed by MCV, Zelnick said that their main concern now is to make sure they meet the expectations set by players.

"World of Warcraft shows that there are certain titles with a persistent world that can generate interest, engagement and, therefore, revenue for long periods of time. But that's a very different model to ours."

"We aren't blessed by having that IP here, and we are still operating based on building very significant, exciting high-quality releases and then continuing to engage with them after their launch," said Take Two Interactive's big boss.

He continued by saying that change may come in the near future. However, it will not get materialized right away.

"It has changed materially in the last five years. We have to be where the consumer is. But right now, it seems like making new iterations of existing IP and creating new hit franchises will continue to be our model for some time to come," Zelnick said.

With that all said, there is still hope for fans for the unveiling of the new GTA installment. It may not happen this year but, with all the speculations,World of Warcraft Gold there's a possibility that it might be released next year.
