Leggy Olivia Munn and Emmy Rossum show their pet friendly style at the All-Star Dog Rescue Celebration

Leggy Olivia Munn and Emmy Rossum show their pet friendly style at the All-Star Dog Rescue Celebration

Olivia Munn and Emmy Rossum shared the spotlight with some furry animal friends on Saturday.

Both ladies showed off their legs in short ensembles as they attended the All-Star Dog Rescue Celebration at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

Olivia, who is soon to be seen in Zoolander 2, was an inspiration in a thigh-skimming white dress with sheer detail while Shameless star Emmy rocked a monochrome number that stopped short of her knees.

The 35-year-old Munn brought along her adorable dog Chance who seemed to enjoy the attention very much.

The small tricolour pooch sat calmly at Olivia's heels and took note of everybody and everything.

Mingling: Kaley Cuoco wasn't hard to spot in her white blazer and culottes ensemble and neither was Kathy Griffin in her exotic black and purple print dress

The Newsroom star adopted Chance after spotting him at the Fox Network's Cause For Paws special a year ago.

If there’s anyone who can pull off a floral embellished dress by Valentino with pure ease, it’s got to be the effortlessly elegant Olivia Munn.

The sophisticated beauty wowed in this embellished silk floral dress from the Italian fashion house, working its 60s vibes with a tousled side sweeping ‘do and some white stilettos for a retro touch.

We love the delicate embellishment that makes this Valentino number such an exceptional beauty, and the beading and applique work stand out against luxe cream silk, adorning a sheer yoke and sleeves.

Paired with heels to make a show-stopping evening ensemble without looking overboard, this dress will steal the limelight on your next night out.

And the good news is that it's available to buy online; so get clicking through to the right to snap it up for £3915.

If you can't bare to splash out, then check out the cheaper alternatives in the edit below from the likes of Jolie Moi, Chi Chi London, Giambattista Valli and more.

'I wasn't looking for a dog at all,' Olivia told Good Housekeeping earlier this year, adding: 'And then I saw this little guy and was like, "I have to have him."'

Emmy, meanwhile, had a cute little buddy on her arm as she posed on the red paw-printed carpet in red heels.

The 29-year-old actress didn't mind a few dog hairs on that chic outfit as she cuddled up to the sweet pup for the cameras.

Emmy is a huge proponent of the 'adopt, don't shop' method when searching for new pet addition.

'Just overall, knowing that you did something for an animal in need is such a fulfilling feeling,' Emmy told E! News in February.

'You think you are rescuing them, but really - this sounds cheesy - but they kind of end up rescuing you.'

Others who attended the pet friendly event - and believe in that mantra - included Kathy Griffin, Carrie Ann Inaba, singer Emmylou Harris, The Dog Whisperer Cesar Milan and actress Linda Blair.

Kathy looked bright and festive in a purple and black frock, while Carrie Ann delighted in a black jumpsuit alongside her sweet white pup.

Ross Matthews (Hello Ross, The Tonight Show) was all smiles as he hit the red carpet with his little dog.
