FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. Rueben Randle Jersey . -- Roddy White isnt concerned that he might not be 100 per cent healthy for the remainder of the season. The four-time Pro Bowl receiver just wants to get back on the field and help the Atlanta Falcons end their terrible slump. "Weve got to try to string some wins back to back if were going to get ourselves back in this race," White said Friday. "So its going to be important for me to be out there." Nine months after their season ended 10 yards shy of the Super Bowl, the Falcons have been one of the leagues biggest disappointments. They have lost four of five and are tied for the NFCs fourth-worst record. A season-ending foot injury to Pro Bowl receiver Julio Jones four weeks ago cost Atlanta one of the NFLs elite deep threats, and the passing attack has been further compromised by Whites right ankle and left hamstring injuries. White is eager to play Sunday when the Falcons (2-5) visit Carolina (4-3). The ninth-year veteran returned to practice Friday for the first time in over three weeks and is listed as questionable. "It went well," he said. "I ran some routes and did some things that are in the game plan. I felt real good out there." White played the first five games with a high ankle sprain, but had just 14 catches for 129 yards and no touchdowns -- far below the weekly statistics he accustomed to posting as the Falcons career-leading receiver. In helping Atlanta win the NFC South last year, White became just the fifth NFL player to have three consecutive seasons with at least 90 catches and 1,200 yards receiving. Coach Mike Smith says Whites status will be a game-time decision. White must successfully complete a hamstring test with trainers before team doctors will clear him to play. White, who missed the first game of his career two weeks ago in a home victory over Tampa Bay, has stood on the sideline the last two weeks and is eager to return to action. "That might be an understatement," Smith said. "Hes one of the most passionate, competitive guys that Ive been around. The sooner we get him back out, the better it is for everybody." Three other starters -- left tackle Sam Baker (knee), safety William Moore (hip) and defensive end Osi Umenyiora (knee) -- are also listed as questionable. All three practiced Friday but, like White, were limited in their participation. Linebacker Stephen Nicholas (thigh) has been ruled out for the second straight week. The Falcons passing attack ranks No. 4 in the NFL, but those numbers are somewhat misleading after Jones season ended when he was leading the league in yards receiving and ranked second in catches. Injuries to Jones and White have allowed opponents to double- and triple-team Pro Bowl tight end Tony Gonzalez, the NFLs No. 2 career-leading receiver. Unfortunately for Atlanta, quarterback Matt Ryan, when hes not being sacked or hit, has been forced to direct an offence thats essentially one-dimensional. With Steven Jackson hampered by a hamstring injury and the lines poor blocking, the Falcons rank last in the league in the rushing, but because theyre often trailing, Ryan has had to throw the ball throughout the second half. If White can return effectively, the team is confident that Harry Douglas will continue to improve as the No. 2 receiver and that Gonzalez might get more separation in coverage, particularly if hes matched up one-on-one. "At the beginning of the season, you know youve got a really good team with everybody (healthy), but seeing how banged up we are right now, youve just got to find ways to win games," White said. "Its tough sledding, but its the NFL, though." Notes: Smith said that Jones, who is still recovering from surgery, has been at the Falcons complex the last three days, but added that the 24-year-old has his leg immobilized and must not put weight on it. ... Starting linebacker Akeem Dent (ankle), reserve defensive tackle Peria Jerry (toe) and starting right guard Garrett Reynolds (knee) participated fully in practice and are listed as probable. ... The Panthers have three starters listed as questionable -- running back DeAngelo Williams (quadriceps), defensive end Charles Johnson (groin) and linebacker Chase Blackburn (foot). Prince Amukamara Jersey . LOUIS -- Rookie Tavon Austin has missed another day of practice, lessening the odds hell be ready for the St. Landon Collins Jersey . Halifax beat the Saint John Sea Dogs 7-5 on the strength of two goals apiece from Nikolaj Ehlers, Matt Murphy and Brent Andrews. Jonathan Drouin also scored and had three assists while Zachary Fucale made 17 saves for the Mooseheads (16-8-0), who led 6-1 after two periods. http://www.nflgiantsfanstore.com/Womens-Carl-Banks-Game-Jersey/ . -- Hunter Smith scored the winner with just 12 seconds remaining in the third period as the Oshawa Generals edged the host Sarnia Sting 5-4 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action. GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers arent ruling out Aaron Rodgers for Sundays game against the Atlanta Falcons even though the star quarterback hasnt yet been medically cleared to play since breaking his left collarbone a month ago. Packers coach Mike McCarthy said that Rodgers will practice Wednesday in a limited fashion but that backup Matt Flynn would take the snaps with the starters. "Aaron wants to play, theres no question about it," McCarthy said Tuesday. "But its a medical situation. He has a clear understanding where he is as far as the process of getting back on the field. He feels good, and were going to see what he can do tomorrow." Speaking on his weekly radio show Tuesday night, Rodgers confirmed that he had an X-ray and CT scan earlier in the day and acknowledged that the outlook wasnt as promising as hed hoped when he met with team physician Dr. Pat McKenzie. "I saw the X-rays and scan," Rodgers said. "Were now four weeks and one day from my fracture. Ive made a lot of progress. A lot of it is just the bone healing. Bone takes three to six weeks to heal. We all hoped wed be on the short end of that. "I trust Doc McKenzie. When Im ready to play and everyone is on board, then Im going to play," he added. "After we sat down Tuesday, I havent had that full clearance. Im not ruling myself out. I know theres a rush to get back out there. I feel it internally, but also externally. I desperately want to be out there, but it has to look good." The Packers enter Sundays game at 5-6-1 and are 0-4-1 since Rodgers was injured on the opening series of their loss to the Chicago Bears on Nov. 4. Theyve gone from 5-2 and on a four-game winning streak to needing to win their final four games and get some help to qualify for the playoffs for the fifth straight year. "Ultimately, Im not going to be able to play if I dont get medically cleared," Rodgers said. Amid reports the team might shut Rodgers down if the team was out of playoff contention, McCarthy denied such a discussion has occurred. "There has been no internal conversation about shutting Aaron Rodgers down," McCarthy said. "Aaron wants to play. When hes healthy, hell be given the opportunity to play." If Rodgers is not medically cleared to face the Falcons, Flynn is set to make his second straight start. In Thursdays 40-10 Thanksgiving Day loss to the Detroit Lions, Flynn completed only 10 of 20 passes for 139 yards witth no touchdowns and one interception. Harry Carson Giants Jersey. He was sacked seven times, including once for a safety. He also lost a fumble on a centre exchange. Flynn took over when McCarthy benched Scott Tolzien during a 26-26 tie with the Minnesota Vikings on Nov. 24, when Flynn rallied the Packers from a 23-7 fourth-quarter deficit. Asked why he would go with Flynn over Tolzien, who took over for an injured Seneca Wallace against Philadelphia on Nov. 10 and started the teams Nov. 17 loss to the New York Giants, McCarthy cited Flynns experience. While he didnt sign with the team until Nov. 12, Flynn was Rodgers primary backup from 2008 through 2011. "We just think Matts further along as far as game experience and just a little more comfortable in the system," McCarthy said. "Scotts worked extremely hard. Frankly for both Scott and Matt, Scott really had one week of full reps to get ready for the Giants game. This will be Matts first opportunity to get a full week of reps getting ready for Atlanta game. Thats what you have to look at. "Talking even with Aaron today about trying to maybe get him ready also, to get him a chance to come back (the question) is how do you balance that out? Because at the end of the day, we have to make sure our quarterback is ready to play." NOTES: The Packers officially announced the signing of running back Kahlil Bell, who worked out for the team on Monday. To clear a spot for him on the roster, the team released second-year safety Jerron McMillian, a fourth-round pick out of Maine last year. McMillian went into training camp competing with M.D. Jennings for the starting safety job opposite veteran Morgan Burnett. He made two crucial errors at the end of the teams Oct. 13 victory over Baltimore and has been playing almost exclusively on special teams ever since. "His individual performance, it just wasnt quite what it needed to be this year," McCarthy said. "You never want to give up on a young guy." . The Packers have four safeties left on their roster: Burnett, Jennings, Chris Banjo and Sean Richardson, who was activated from the physically unable to perform list last month. . McCarthy sounded encouraged about centre Evan Dietrich-Smith, who left Thursdays game with a knee injury. Dietrich-Smith also injured his knee Nov. 10 against the Eagles. "He feels that the time off really helped him. Im hopeful that hell practice tomorrow," McCarthy said. cheap nfl jerseys cheap jerseys cheap jerseys cheap jerseys cheap nfl jerseys wholesale jerseys ' ' '
