"Helping The World DISCOVER THE WAY of LOVE!"

Longtime reader here, great website. Acheter Nike Blazer Basse About the Lunarglide: It¡¯s listed as having a ¡°Dynamic Support¡± pillar on the instep for pronation control. Did you feel this at all on your runs? I¡¯m interested in the LGs for a long run/recovery shoe, but any form of medial posting tends to make me over-exaggerate my supination, causing extra stress on my knees.

Nike Free 3.0 v5 Sole After 45+ Miles of Running and Extensive Casual Wear. The lack of extensive outsole makes for a lightweight shoe, and my size 10¡¯s come in right around 8oz. Sole dimensions reported by Running Warehouse are 21mm heel, 17mm forefoot, making it a 4mm drop shoe.

I¡¯d heard that the Peg 31 addressed this (and reduced the drop to 10 mm) so I stopped by my local running store to try them on and assess for myself ¨C wound up buying a pair and ran 6.5 miles in them yesterday (having a new run specialty store in town has been bad for my wallet!). It¡¯s a beautiful shoe with an impressive upper (the interior has a seamless liner that is very nice). Nike Flyknit France Still more sole than I typically care for, but I had a solid first run. The shoe still has a soft heel, but the forefoot does feel firmer and had no noticeable issues with medial midsole caving. Update 6/30/2014: I have now published my full Nike Pegasus 31 review.

Interestingly, I almost passed on trying the Free 4.0 Flyknit. Several weeks ago I purchased the new 2014 model of the Nike Free 5.0. I hated it. It had a tight band around the forefoot that dug into my skin, and quite honestly it felt and looked a bit cheaply made. I wasn¡¯t impressed and it went back to the store unworn. However, I¡¯d heard from some fellow shoe geeks that the 4.0 was going to be the big winner among the 2014 Free models, so I spent the $100+ to buy a pair (MSRP is $120). This might be one of the few times where I feel that the relatively high cost might be justifiable ¨C I like the shoe that much.

The Lunarglide 5 is a soft shoe. I¡¯m a mild heel striker, but when I force a harder heel strike the softness of the heel becomes very apparent. And at 10mm drop (per Running Warehouse ¨C 28mm heel height, 18mm forefoot; 9.6 oz in size 9), there is more sole underfoot than I typically need for my stride. If you like a soft shoe with a lot of heel cushion, these would be a fine choice (I find them somewhat similar to the adidas Energy Boost). The sole feels quite similar to the Nike Lunaracer, though the latter is a bit lower profile. Pair the Lunaracer sol Nike Roshe Run Outlet e with the Lunarglide upper and forefoot fit and you¡¯d have one awesome shoe!

I actually bought a pair of the Peg 29 earlier this year for a consulting project and wound up running in them a few times. Though they are more shoe than I typically wear, I actually enjoyed the ride since the very soft sole works well with my stride. My main problem with the Peg 30 was that the forefoot was so soft that my feet tended to cave the medial midsole as I reached max pronation (thi Nike Blazer Basse Femmes s led to abrasion on the ball behind my big toe).
