"Helping The World DISCOVER THE WAY of LOVE!"
Given all of this, Nike Free Run 2.0 Mens uk online you can imagine my initial reaction when I was contacted a few weeks back by Skechers (directly this time) to see if I wanted to try out and review a pair of the soon-to-be released Skechers Go Run shoe. I had seen some early images of the Go Run, and they looked to be a bit of a positive departure from previous running offerings from the company, so I was at least curious (particularly since Meb Keflezghi apparently plans to use this as his racing shoe). But, the bad taste left in my mouth from my previous interaction with Skechers caused me to hesitate. Did I really want to support a company with a marketing approach like that which Skechers has employed? I wanted to be sure that if I agreed, and honest review is what they wanted. So, here is the text of my email response to their initial inquiry:

Sometimes all it takes is a few small changes to improve a shoe. This was the case with the Hoka Clifton 2, which I reviewed earlier this week. Hoka added a bit of padding to uk Nike Air Max 2014 Womens the tongue, an additional lace eyelet, and a new insole, but kept just about everything else on the shoe the same. Fix what¡¯s broken, don¡¯t change what people like ¨C that¡¯s how it should be done.
The DS Racer is billed as a light stability shoe, having both a medial post and a plastic midfoot shank, but I can¡¯t say that the shoe feels particularly controlling in any way (similar to how I feel about the New Balance 1500 and Saucony Fastwitch). To be honest, it runs a lot like the neutral Hyper Speed.
Below are photos of me running barefoot, in a stability/support shoe designed for moderate to severe overpronators (Asics Kayano) and in a neutral lightweight marathon racing shoe (Adidas Adizero Adios ¨C see picture at top of post). The red lines show the lower leg position at initial contact, and the green at maximum pronation. For a layman a fully pronated foot may look a bit nasty, but I can assure you that in the barefoot case it is within normal range. As seen, the stability shoe does not significantly change my barefoot mechanics (at least in terms of pronation), normal stays normal. However, when using the ¡°neutral¡± running shoe there is obvious over-pronation.
What should shoe manufacturers do then? As a complement to uncushioned minimalist shoes we are starting to see zero-drop (or near zero-drop) cushioned shoes, which are all neutral in the traditional sense, that is single-density midsole. These are marketed as not significantly altering barefoot gait, which may not be true since some of us put high pressure close to the edges of the shoe. Perhaps we need a new type of cushioned zero-drop (or near zero-drop) runnin Nike Air Max 2015 Womens UK g shoe. A rim of slightly firmer midsole material on the medial side (i.e., a dual-density midsole) may help it become neutral in the true sense, by making the resulting firmness the same in the middle as close to the medial edge. Since pressure seems to most often build up on the medial side, another solution could be to make the sole slightly wider there, but that could affect the balance of the shoe. Compensating by making it wider also on the lateral side is not a good idea since initia Nike Air Max 90 uk sale l ground contact is there and you will then accelarate pronation.
