As with the upper, the Nike Air Max 2015 Femme vente sole of the Wildhorse 3 is beefed up via the addition of about 6mm of midsole cushion in the heel and 2mm in the forefoot. The shoe retains a zoom air unit in the heel, and there is a rock plate in the forefoot. Overall, the ride is cushier than that of v2, though I can¡¯t sense the bouncy presence of the zoom air unit as much in the new version. The added midsole height seems to have muted the feel a bit. Whereas I felt like the earlier versions of the Wildhorse were something like a Nike Free Trail (minus the flex), the Wildhorse 3 is probably more comparable to something like a Zoom Elite Trail.
This review is long overdue, but it¡¯s one that I have long felt compelled to write. When Nike first announced the release of the newest member of it¡¯s Free line of more minimalist running shoes, the Nike Free Run+, I was highly critical of their marketing approach. Some took this as me attacking a shoe that I had never worn, but that was not my intent. Rather, I was critical of the fact that Nike was marketing the Free Run+ as a shoe that Nike Air Max 2015 Homme pas cher simulates barefoot running, which I didn¡¯t believe (and still don¡¯t) was possible. In fairness, I felt that I should at least give the shoe a try so that I could write an informed review (one better than the piece put together by Wired Magazine that initially didn¡¯t even have the correct shoe pictured). This post is my attempt at providing a fair review of Nike Free Run+.
Given the above features, I view the Nike Free 3.0 as a great choice as a transitional shoe if you¡¯re thinking about working your way down to running barefoot or in an extremely minimalist shoe like the Vibram Fivefingers. Some disagree with this approach, saying that going barefoot from the start is the best approach so that immediate sensory feedback from your feet can prevent you from doing too much, too soon, but the transitional approach worked well for me, and I have managed to avoid any serious injuries so far while running in Vibrams over the past 8-10 months (I should point out that although I¡¯ve tried barefoot running, I¡¯m not a barefoot runner). The important thing to remember with any new shoe, and with minimalist shoes in particular, is to not overdo it ¨C give your feet and legs time to adjust to these shoes, and resist the urge to do too much, too soon.
The Kiger is a very nice looking shoe, and looks fast while remaining fairly simple in design. Overall the design should appeal to a wide range of runners. It¡¯s relatively light, well cushioned, and at 4mm drop still meets much of the market for this type of shoe. The design of the upper is great and definitely a highlight for me. It¡¯s the first shoe where I felt the burrito wrap design actually worked.
Nike Free 5.0 2015
The majority of the sole is exposed midsole cushion, so yo Nike Roshe Run Femme pas cher u can barely hear your footfalls while running in them ¨C I love a silent shoe! The tradeoff to this design is that there is minimal outsole coverage ¨C rubber pods are only present at the back outer heel and under the big toe. As such, sole durability is something to keep an eye on if you tend to be a scuffer. Interestingly, my wear pattern only seems to be from the anteriormost heel pod forward through the midfoot ¨C much more of a midfoot landing wear pattern than I ten Nike Roshe Run Homme vente d to observe in most other shoes that I run in.
