"Helping The World DISCOVER THE WAY of LOVE!"

A few weeks ago I wrote a Nike Air Max 2015 en ligne post introducing adidas¡¯ ¡°natural running¡± adipure line of shoes, and included some thoughts on the adipure Adapt, which looks and feels pretty much like a water sock. I liked the feel of the Adapt, but from an aesthetic standpoint it was severely lacking.

It¡¯s clear from the above description that Nike is not marketing this as a minimalist running shoe (maybe they should ¨C we¡¯ll see), but the Vibram Fivefingers also began their life as a water sports shoe, so who knows, maybe these will do the trick. Given that these are half the price of most Vibrams, and a third of the price of shoes like the remarkably expensive Terra Plana EVO ($160.00 for a minimalist shoe???), it would be great if they represented another alternative to what¡¯s currently out there for minimalist runners. Check back here in a few weeks and I should hopefully have a preliminary review posted (if I don¡¯t, it¡¯s likely because my wife strangled me for bringing yet another pair of shoes into the house!). In the meantime, if you just can¡¯t wait to try them yourself, here are a few links to where they can be purchased:

Conclusion: The Saucony Kinvara, although being pitched as minimalist shoe, finds itself in a middle ground along the spectrum from traditional to barefoot-like (I¡¯d say about right Nike Air Max 90 pascher en ligne in the middle of that spectrum). It represents something of a risk to runners used to a traditional shoe or fearful of anything that doesn¡¯t have pronation control, and it represents too-much-shoe to those who are true minimalists. Yet, despite this, it seems to be one of the most popular shoes around right now (my local shoe store indicated that they are flying off the shelves). Based upon my experience, I can understand why.

A few days ago I wrote a post about a new shoe that Nike had released called the Nike Sneakerboat II. It¡¯s basically a water shoe/aqua sock that I thought looked like it might have some potential as a minimalist running shoe. Well, I went ahead and bought a pair of Sneakerboat II¡¯s (only cost me $40), and they just arrived in the mail yesterday. Here are a few initial impressions after kicking around in them this afternoon (no run yet):

The outsole of the Zante is full coverage rubber ¨C as a result, I expect durability should be decent. The New Balance Fresh Foam Zante is the kind of shoe that will work well when you pick up the pace due to the firm and responsive forefoot, and it¡¯s also well-cushioned enough to handle longer runs. Overall it¡¯s a very versatile shoe that should appeal to a wide range of runners. If the upper tear on my shoe is not a widespread issue I¡¯d rank it among the better shoes I have reviewed this year. I highly recommend the Zante!

To be honest, I have been asked about when this review was going to come out more often than for any other shoe I have tested. Furthermore, my original post providing some initial thoughts on the Kinvara has garnered big traffic numbers here on the blog (it¡¯s currently my #2 post overall in terms of reader traffic). The Kinvara is clearly hot, and though true minimalists will probably cringe when I say this, I believe that it is going to play a pivotal role in the future of the minimalist running movement. Why, you ask? There are a ,Nike Free pascher en ligne number of reasons. First, if in fact the Kinvara is selling as well as it seems that it is, it may be the shoe that helps prove that money can be made from minimalism. Let¡¯s be quite honest ¨C minimalist shoes will not go mainstream and the movement will likely fade away if nobody buys this type of shoe. The success of shoes like the Vibram Fivefingers, Nike Free, and the Kinvara will go a long way toward spurring further development from the big manufacturers, and this has the potentia l to help shape the future of shoe design and marketing.
