Ralph Lauren Outlet Nashville Store Accused Of Selling Counterfeit Merchandise

Ralph Lauren Factory Store NASHVILLE, Tenn. A Nashville retailer has been accused of selling counterfeit merchandise to its patrons.Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said several counterfeit items were seized Tuesday from Legends Clothing Store, located on Bell Road.Police said the store was selling counterfeit items of designer brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, The North Face, and Nike, among others. Thousands of items were seized during the raid."Businesses that root their operations in illegal activity circumvent the sales efforts of legitimate stores and harm the local economy," said Chief Steve Anderson with the Metro Nashville Police Department. "As we have seen in this case and others over the past several months,our police department will take enforcement action when necessary to see thatIf authentic, the merchandise would have retailed for more than $1.8 million.
