There's also the case of David Stevens, who worked as a technical diver for British Petroleum in the '70s link and '80s. In the in-depth article on the Omega Ploprof I published last year, I wrote that Stevens bought a Ploprof to replace his failed Seiko. link That Seiko was a 6105. We don't know how or why it failed, but we do know that it was his first choice, before purchasing the Omega, to carry out his diving duties. That link speaks volumes about the watch.
