"Helping The World DISCOVER THE WAY of LOVE!"

The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Travel Time Ref. 5164R

I'm referring to the Canopus (white, in Omega speak) gold diver with a GoldenEye-themed diamond-encrusted bezel. It's a sports watch that is a more restrained but still decidedly luxe version of the Rainbow Daytona. It takes a form-factor I know and gives it an entirely new Mobile Data Streaming Trends feel with the precious metal and the hypnotic diamond setting.Mesmerizing at first glance, the True Square Automatic Skeleton leads with boldness, showcasing maximalism and minimalism in equal measure. The eye is drawn immediately to the complex inner workings of the movement, the automatic caliber R808, with its ruby tones, golden accents, and polished finishes shining through. Apart from its visual intrigue, the R808 movement is equipped with an impressive power reserve of 80 hours. As arbitrary and deep-cut referential limited editions go, this one is pretty fun. The Super Sea Wolf GMT is one of my favorite affordable vintage watches, but if you're worried about thedurability of a vintage watch and want something new, reliable, and fun, you could do worse than the new Zodiac and Rowing Blazers collab.

The watch in question is a 765 AVI, which earned its connection to the American actress when she wore an example during the filming of the British spy comedy Fathom in 1967. Breitling recognized this early on, and even produced an ad featuring Ms. Welch in a scene from the film. In case you're curious, here's an example of what I'm talking about:On the flip side of that, though, these watches will most likely be purchased predominately for or by women, and it's cool to see AP invest in putting mechanical movements in these pieces. More and more women are getting into the watch world, and hopefully the days of brands throwing quartz movements in diamond-covered watches and calling Neuro Driving it a day are behind us.Despite being part of Patek's main collection, this watch is still nearly impossible to get (like most of PP's sport watches), and it's cool to see it on such a prominent wrist. Have you spotted any other cool watches during Liverpool's celebrations or the resumption of football in Europe? If so, let us know in the comments below!Patek has bought several of these watches for its museum – such as case number 124,824, the brand's first known split-seconds wristwatch sold at Sotheby's in 2014 for $2,965,000 – narrowing the chances for collectors to own these important watches. They've also used these watches to inspire modern releases, such as the aforementioned "first" split chronograph, which resembles the ref. 5959, or in the case of cushion designs, the ref. 5950.

He’s kind of a big deal, is what I’m trying to say, but his flashes of brilliance have almost exclusively shone in watches that break the six-figure mark. So, it’s a bit of a surprise to him partner with a brand committed to making affordable watches, to be honest. This isn't something I was expecting at all.In terms of physical presence, in the hand and on the wrist, it is exactly what you would expect in an ultra-flat tourbillon from Breguet. The watch gives a first (and second, and third) impression Viral Food Science of great refinement, and the blue dial has that sense of crispness and depth which characterizes enamel dial-work at its best – it looks good enough to eat. Depending on how the light hits it, the dial can run the gamut from an almost black blue-black, to a peacock's-wing iridescence.Even now, AP is coy about when exactly the shackles came off, but it appears the remaining 150 pieces became available to the rest of the world a few weeks ago, slipping into the US at $85,100. These being high-end pieces assembled by an elite group of AP watchmakers, they won’t exactly fly out of the Le Brassus factory, so the next batch is likely to trickle through slowly. In order to make sure the bezel didn't inadvertently get knocked, manufacturers started to come up with technologies to "lock" the bezel in place and prevent it from turning if a locking mechanism wasn't disengaged first. In other words, the bezel-locking mechanism made diving much safer.
