"Helping The World DISCOVER THE WAY of LOVE!"

We'll definitely try to incorporate people's ideas

Despite that, and despite The Black Glove's fate hinging upon the success of Cheap RS Gold its Kickstarter this week, Fielder sounds excited to have moved on to a smaller and more egalitarian project, and not just because he gets to work from home now. It's been a lot more of a flat hierarchy, he says about Day For Night's structure. Working at Irrational was like working for a show-runner for a TV show. In this case if one of the people working on a level or elements or art has a better idea we'll adopt that idea instead and run with it. We're really just pushing for the best ideas possible, he continues, hinting at the struggles of working on a game with a huge team overseen by a domineering project lead. If it's possible within the time and the budget, we'll definitely try to incorporate people's ideas. It's the best way to get the best work out of everybody involved. Fielder doesn't know if the trend of smaller teams working on smaller projects is the future of the industry, but he definitely welcomes the change. We still work hard, but even just cutting out the drive to an office is great, he says. I feel a lot healthier for it. I ended up with walking pneumonia during Bioshock Infinite, and now I just managed to get through a fever in a day. Garrett Martin edits Paste's Runescape games section and reviews Runescape games for the Boston Herald. Braves Fan Bids Team Adieu at Baseball Hall of Fame. I traveled from Atlanta to Cooperstown, N.Y., to eat barbecue and fried chicken with my dad, my brothers and the Atlanta Braves. The Braves held a team dinner at the Farmer's Museum in Cooperstown the night before the Hall of Fame Induction ceremonies earlier this year. Three Braves legends were being inducted, long-time manager Bobby Cox and pitchers Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux, and to commemorate the occasion the team served down-home food and hired a band of grey-hairs in black T-shirts to play Double Vision and a variety of Huey Lewis covers. It was a baseball party, and for some reason I was invited. The museum's unused dance floor opened out onto a tent with tables and serving stations, where team employees mingled and a handful of former Runescape players downed quick bites of food while reconnecting or patiently suffering fans fortunate enough to attend. At one point I brushed shoulders with Greg Maddux, who, despite retiring to the darkness outside the tent, away from the crowd, was perpetually circled by a mob of well-wishers and supplicants. Out in the tent was a station where you could fill cocktail glasses with grits and mashed potatoes.
