HOUSTON -- Texans Pro Bowl linebacker Brian Cushing is out for the season with a left knee injury that will require surgery. nike air force 1 low homme pas cher . Cushing was injured in the third quarter of Sundays loss at Kansas City during a low block by running back Jamaal Charles. Its the second straight year Cushing has been lost for the season with a left knee injury. He tore the anterior cruciate ligament in the same knee in Week 5 last season. Its a devastating blow for a team that has lost five games in a row heading into its bye on Sunday. "I think he was playing at a defensive player of the year-type of level," coach Gary Kubiak said. "Then here he goes again, hes got to go through this. So I know its very difficult for him ... (and) I know Cush will do everything he can to get back. But you hate to see anybody go through that especially twice now." The Texans signed Cushing to a six-year contract worth $55.6 million before this season. Kubiak said injuries to left tackle Duane Brown (ankle), running back Arian Foster (hamstring) and Ben Tate (ribs) arent serious. Tate was injured in the third quarter on Sunday but returned and finished the game. He told The Associated Press on Monday that he has four broken ribs. He was in a lot of pain, even wincing when he took off his sweatshirt, but said that he expects to be ready to play when Houston hosts Indianapolis on Nov. 3. "Ill be OK," he said. Kubiak also said rookies Cierre Wood, Sam Montgomery and Willie Jefferson were released for violating team rules. He wouldnt specify what the players did, but did say it wasnt just one thing. "I make decisions based on a body of work in everything I do," he said. "Ive got five months of work invested with those three young men and I made a decision today to move forward. Weve got some things we need to address as a football team." Wood is a running back who was third on the depth chart after making the team as an undrafted free agent. With Foster and Tate both banged up, the Texans will need to add depth at that position with one of the open roster spots. Montgomery, a third-round pick, and Jefferson, who was undrafted, are both linebackers. "Weve got some rebuilding to do inside with some issues and weve got some special teams issues," Kubiak said. "So the moves that we make have got to be special teams-oriented to help (special teams coach) Joe (Marciano)." Players wouldnt discuss why the three were dismissed from the team, but said they agreed with Kubiaks decision. "Its a shame," linebacker Brooks Reed said. "But its for the betterment of the team." Another issue for the Texans is the health of quarterback Matt Schaub. Schaub struggled this season before missing last weeks game with ankle and foot injuries. Former third-stringer Case Keenum got the start on Sunday in his first NFL game. He performed well for most of the game before a fumble late in the fourth quarter sealed Houstons loss. Kubiak was cagey when asked if Schaub would start after the bye if hes healthy. "Ive got to sit down and look at our situation and whats going on right now," he said. "Obviously Matts our starting quarterback, Case played this week because Matt wasnt healthy. Case went in and played extremely well. Im going to sit down on our bye week and evaluate where were at as a team and move forward from there." But he did rave about Keenums performance against the undefeated Chiefs. "To go in Kansas City in that environment and that noise and handle the football team the way he handled it I thought was impressive," Kubiak said. nike roshe run homme solde . Kyle Denbrook, a soccer player from Saint Marys University, took the CIS male athlete of the week honour. Stanley, a fourth-year business administration student from Charlottetown, scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Dalhousie on Friday and tallied again in a 1-0 win over Saint Marys on Sunday. nike air force 1 low femme pas cher . Perhaps Carroll was so prepared for a break because he believes there is very little the Seattle Seahawks need heading into the off-season. "I dont see anything that we need to add. We just have to get better," Carroll said. http://www.pascherhommefemmefr.com/nike-free-5-0/nike-free-5-0-homme.html . The veteran safety was a starter for the Bengals from 2008-2012. He totaled 41 tackles and three interceptions while starting all but four of the 13 games he played last season.New York, NY - Alabama and Florida State remained the top two teams in the latest Associated Press college football poll, but Baylor and Ohio State swapped places as the four are still the lone remaining unbeatens in the power conferences. Alabama, coming off a 20-7 win at Mississippi State on Saturday, held on to its firm grasp atop the poll. The Crimson Tide received 55 first-place votes and a total of 1,495 points from a nationwide media panel. Florida State, after its second straight 59-3 victory in as many weeks, kept the second spot and picked up two additional first-place votes. The Seminoles, who will close the regular season with a visit from Idaho and a trip to Florida, earned five No. 1 tallies and 1,445 total points. Baylor moved up one spot to third, while Ohio State dipped one place to fourth. Both had easy victories on Saturday, as the Bears continued to pile up the points in a 63-34 victory over Texas Tech and the Buckeyes pummeled Illinois, 60-35. Oregon inched up one spot to fifth and again controls its own destiny for a berth in the Pac-12 title game after Stanfords loss to USC on Saturday. The Ducks are followed by Auburn, Clemson, Missouri, Texas A&M and Stanford. The Cardinal couldnt build off the victory against Oregon and dropped a 20-17 decision at Southern California, tumbling five spots from No. 5. The second 10 consists of Oklahoma State, South Carolina, Michigan State, UCLA, Fresno State, WWisconsin, UCF, LSU, Arizona State and Northern Illinois. nike air max thea pas cher. Fresno State and Northern Illinois are also undefeated. UCF dropped two spots from 15th after a narrow escape at Temple on Saturday. Louisville, Oklahoma, USC, Ole Miss and Duke are the last five teams ranked. USC, Ole Miss and Duke are this weeks newcomers. The resurgent Trojans, under interim coach Ed Orgeron, havent been ranked since the first poll of the regular season, while the Rebels were ranked for four weeks in September. Duke, meanwhile, is ranked for the first time since the final poll of the 1994 season. The Blue Devils, after a 48-30 win over then-No. 24 Miami-Florida on Saturday, are in control of their own destiny in the ACC Coastal Division. Miami, ranked No. 7 just three weeks ago, fell out of the poll after its third straight loss. Texas and Georgia also dropped out. The Longhorns were 23rd and fell to Oklahoma State, while the Bulldogs were No. 25 and lost a heartbreaker at Auburn on a 73-yard deflected touchdown pass on 4th-and-18 in the final minute. Next weeks schedule features four ranked matchups, including a huge Pac-12 South showdown between Arizona State and UCLA at the Rose Bowl. Missouri, which needs two wins to capture the SEC East and a berth in the conference title game, starts its quest at Ole Miss, and LSU hosts Texas A&M. Also, Baylor visits Oklahoma State with first place in the Big 12 on the line.
