The result is a complex, visually stimulating effect wherein the dial is engraved in different directions, creating almost imperceptible sections within the dial that reveal themselves depending on link the light. This muted design is meant to invoke a certain link graphical pattern found on Must de Cartier watches from the 1980s. While it may appear that each dial presents several shades of its color, that is merely perceived due link to the nature of the engravings.
