Well now we've got the Chronomaster El Primero Range Rover Velar, named for Range Rover's sleek new Velar, which just debuted this week at the Geneva Auto Show. Rather than incorporating a helium release valve like some of its contemporaries, the 6159-7010 never let any helium in the watch to begin with. It accomplished this through specially designed gaskets and seals. Again, water resistance doubled, and the "tuna," as it became known, was water-resistant to 600m.The steel model is effectively identical to the gold iteration just without any gold on the case or bracelet. It does, however, share the same dial layout and coloration. Just like with the gold, there are two executions in steel: One on a bracelet and one on a racing-style strap (an option I like far less than that in gold).
