What's – our plan here? I asked. The last time we'd been here, the water had been about 60 degrees. link Today, after two days and nights of below-freezing temperatures, and a direct link infusion of link cold rain and snow, it had to be about 57 degrees, if not worse. I realize that's not the coldest water ever, but it's still pretty cold without a wetsuit. Plus, the air temperature was in the mid-40s and dropping as we ascended.

It can be easy link to get lost in the constant flow of new Grand Seiko dial updates. But every so often, a new watch comes along link that just looks right. This is one of those for me from both a form and function link standpoint and I look forward to possibly getting hands-on with it soon.

It didn’t. With its lockdowns, its delays and its persistent uncertainties, the pandemic took hold. As with a return to the freedoms link of the old world, so too the opening date was pushed back more than once. But link in March of this year, the Bremont Manufacturing and Technology Centre opened. Nick and Giles stood on the roof waving link the Union Jack for the cameras. Mission accomplished?We’ll come to that.
