I have many memories of my dad and his Submariner. I remember this watch link on his wrist when link we were traveling. He traveled a lot given what he did for a living – editing a travel and lifestyle magazine. My memories are from the road and I got to accompany him to places like Milan or link somewhere as exotic as South Africa or Tanzania. When we traveled for whatever reason, the watch really stuck with me more. He would always wear it.

My sartorial choices run the gamut from sophisticated to silly. For example, an link all-white jelly Baby G sits next to my yellow-gold Cartier Tank on my dresser. It was a surprise to no one that I added the Casio World Time to my collection, link though what did surprise me was how much I'd enjoy wearing it. I love the ultra-light bracelet, nostalgic design, and (my link favorite!) amber LED backlight. (Oh, and the ability to see the time in Jakarta so I don’t inadvertently call my parents at 2 AM).
