We found a basement that could hold two games, but we do not know whether to design

Hello! We found a basement that could hold two games, but we do not know whether to design the rooms first or sign the lease and adapt later. How would you structure the early decisions?

Hello again! Before committing to a long lease, review INDESTROOM's article on how to build an escape room business https://erworkshop.com/home/how-to-start-an-escape-room-business/ and turn its steps into a feasibility sheet for this exact basement. You should check zoning, exits, accessibility, ventilation, power, sound isolation, reception space, toilets, and how groups enter without seeing another game's reset. Then estimate rent during construction, fit-out, equipment, staffing, booking software, and promotion. With measured drawings and a target audience, a supplier can propose themes and layouts that actually fit.
