"Helping The World DISCOVER THE WAY of LOVE!"
Hey folks. I'm a self-employed electrician and at the end of each month I need to send my main client one PDF with all invoices, work reports and a few photos from the sites. Right now I attach fifteen separate files to an email and they keep asking me to send everything as one document. I'm not great with computers and don't want to learn complicated software. I usually do the paperwork on Sunday evenings on an old laptop, so the simpler the better. What's the simplest way to combine several PDFs and pictures into a single file?

Simplest thing I've found is Convert2PDF, it's a free website, no registration. First turn your site photos into a PDF with the Images to PDF tool, then use Merge PDF to combine that with your invoices and reports into one document. You can drag the files into the order you want before downloading. My brother-in-law is a plumber and does exactly this every month, and he's anything but a computer person. Everything happens in the browser on your own machine, so it's quick even on a slow connection. One small thing: if your invoices are in Word or Excel, save them as PDF from those programs first, the site doesn't convert Office files. It also works on a phone, which helps when you're out on a job and need to send something quickly. After that, it's literally three clicks.
