"Helping The World DISCOVER THE WAY of LOVE!"
Walked into my storage area in Ajman this morning and just stood there for a solid minute wondering how things got this out of hand. I've got boxes of bubble wrap in three different widths, tape in about four colors because different suppliers sent whatever they had, and like six different box sizes that all serve basically the same purpose but I can't bring myself to throw any away. It's gotten to the point where finding what I actually need takes longer than the actual packing itself. I've been looking for practical advice for managing product stock efficiently because clearly my current method of "just buy whatever's available when I run low" has created this monster. I read something recently about how standardizing on fewer packaging types can actually simplify everything from ordering to storage to forecasting, and I'm starting to think I need to just bite the bullet, pick a couple of sizes and materials to stick with, and work through the rest even if it means some short-term waste. Curious if anyone here has done that kind of inventory purge and whether you regretted it or felt like it was the best thing you did for your sanity. Just need to know I'm not crazy for wanting to simplify things down.
